I would like to welcome the whole family of athletes as well as encourage you to participate in this website of yours with comments, photos and news which, no doubt, will turn it into a much more complete website. I would like to make good use of this opportunity and since these lines say to all the Federated people that we can meet whenever you want to discuss any topic regarding our Martial Arts.
As you know, from June the 3rd, I hold the president´s post in our Basque Judo and AS Federation.
First of all, it is besides a challenge, an honor to represent such a sports group so admired for its success, a group with a great history and an encouraging future. I am proud to be able to follow with the labour carried out for so many years by previous presidents, Manu Aguirre Aguirre and Jose Juan Lopez Rekarte, who left the bar so high.
I want you to share my hopes with all of you and I assure you that I shall surround myself with the best possible human team, so that we can go through all our challenges and purposes. I assure you that we shall work hard so that every sportsman and sportswoman, coach, referee and all of us who join this big family can take our place among the best as we deserve.
